What did I learn from this course? Ma Chenxiao 마신소

The content of this course is very broad, covering many basic concepts, theoretical frameworks, and related topics in sociology. By studying this course, I have gained a series of insights and knowledge. The following are some of the important things I have learned:

Sociological Imagination and Career: I learned how to use sociological imagination to understand and explain social phenomena, and how to apply this imagination to different career fields. This made me realize that sociology is not just a discipline, but also a way of thinking that can help us better understand and deal with complex social problems in various work environments.

The relationship between sociology and other disciplines and fields: I learned the intersection of sociology and other disciplines such as economics, political science, and cultural studies, and how to understand and solve social problems from the perspective of multiple disciplines. This made me realize that sociology is a comprehensive discipline that requires interdisciplinary thinking and methods to conduct research.

Scientific methods and theoretical perspectives: I have mastered the scientific methods and theoretical perspectives commonly used in social science research, including quantitative and qualitative research methods, as well as different theoretical frameworks such as functionalism and symbolic interactionism. This provides me with tools and frameworks for analyzing and understanding social phenomena, helping me to better understand the working mechanisms of society.

Sociological topics such as culture, religion, and economics: I have a deeper understanding of various topics involved in sociology, such as culture, religion, and economics, and their impact on social structure and social interaction. This enables me to have a more comprehensive understanding of the diversity and complexity of society, as well as the interrelationships between different social factors.

Sociological topics such as politics, socialization, race and ethnicity, and the Internet: I have studied some sociological topics in depth, such as politics and government, socialization, race and ethnicity, and the Internet, and understand their importance and impact in contemporary society. This enables me to think more deeply and explore some important issues facing today's society, such as the distribution of political power, role shaping in the socialization process, and the complexity of racial and ethnic relations.

Through this course, I not only gained a wealth of sociological knowledge, but also developed critical thinking and interdisciplinary research skills, which will have a positive impact on my academic and career development. I will continue to study sociology in depth and apply what I have learned to real life and work, and contribute to understanding and improving society.
