This paper deals with the concepts and their importance in demographics. Demographics study the size, structure, and distribution of a population with factors such as birth, death, migration, and aging. Demographic analysis is a powerful tool for explaining social phenomena. It also includes population growth and overpopulation issues, historical development, data and methodologies, fertility and mortality, demographic transformation theory, migration and urbanization issues, and more. Demographics play an important role in policy formation and helping social understanding.

Interesting point

I thought demographics were just used to measure the population of the town, but it was amazing to be able to take an interdisciplinary approach with a variety of social issues.
