 1. The video introduces a very impressive development in the fields of biology and biotechnology. Here are some notable points. First, CRISPR-Cas9 is considered to be the most innovative gene-editing technology. The technology allows the precise cutting and modifying of specific DNA sequences. This has opened up new possibilities in various fields such as disease treatment, agricultural improvement, and biological research. As an example, there is a study that uses CRISPR-Cas9 to modify genetic diseases such as sickle cell anemia and myodystrophy. It is a method that has not been possible with conventional treatments, and it is an innovative approach that can save lives. In addition, genetic manipulation technology can increase crop yields and develop disease-resistant varieties. For example, Genetically Modified Organism (GMO) crops are being developed to have higher nutritional value or to grow even in extreme environments. It can make a big contribution to solving food security issues. While doing this additional project, I watched a lot of science videos, but it was the most difficult video. However, since it is health that leads to human health and life, I watched it with great concentration. What I was most interested in was the content related to rare diseases. It is because it is positive that there is a hope for the suffering person to cure the rare disease that exists.

2. The development of medicines that can treat humans and the increased lifespan of humans is a positive sign. However, I believe that ethical issues exist in this process, and the combination of low birth rate and aging population has the potential to lead to major social problems. Technological advances always pose a risk as a double-edged sword.

3. We talked about an example in which technology changed our culture at the beginning of the semester. This video can also be seen as an example. Among technologies, especially with the development of medicine, people have become accustomed to medicine and hospitals. As a result, coping with illness has changed and culture has changed
