2. What is the main topic of the video, and what do you think about it?

In an era of overflowing digital images, it is becoming increasingly difficult to identify the source, timing, and location of photographs. Savosnick emphasizes that authenticity is essential for trust building and responsible news consumption. In addition, Savosnick, who has grown up to be the granddaughter of Jewish Holocaust survivors, is deeply aware of the ethical responsibility of photographers who truthfully record and report. Her experience has challenged the authenticity of images and motivated her to ensure that the visual narratives of conflict are not controlled by the perpetrators.

3. How does the topic of this video tie to what we have been discussing in class?

In the modern era, with the advancement of AI, fake photos and videos are overflowing on the internet. Therefore, we must learn how to distinguish between real and fake content. Since our department is media studies, it is closely related to journalism. The ethical attitude of journalism is undoubtedly a point of discussion. I am curious to know what other students think about this issue.
