1. What was surprising or interesting in the video?

What's amazing about this video is that if we want to use fusion energy, it's very expensive to use elements on Earth right now, and we lack the presence of elements, but there's a huge amount of helium on the moon, so if we have technology to filter helium out of the moon's dust, we can get energy that we can use for thousands of years to come.

2. What is the main topic of the video, and what do you think about it?

The main topic of the video is nuclear fusion energy and whether it represents the future of energy or a potential failure. The video explains the principles of nuclear fusion, its potential for nearly limitless clean energy, and the current challenges to its implementation. I believe nuclear fusion has immense potential as a future energy source. The benefits of an inexhaustible and environmentally friendly energy source are significant. However, the technological and economic challenges are substantial. Despite these hurdles, continued research and investment in fusion technology are crucial, as it could revolutionize our energy systems if successful.

3. How does the topic of this video tie to what we have been discussing in class?

This video reminded me of the economics I learned in class. Fusion energy reactors currently cost more to produce than energy, so the profit was too low compared to the cost. However, if the nuclear fusion energy reactor changes successfully in the future, it will be a really highlighted energy industry in that it can earn a profit of 1 barrel of oil with the amount of seawater in a glass. Nuclear energy also produces enormous pollutants and environmental pollution when it is discarded, but nuclear fusion energy produces little environmental pollution, which is excellent in both economic and social aspects.
