1. Summary

Deviance is any behavior that violates cultural norms, and it is divided into two main categories: "crimes" that violate formal laws and "informal deviance" that deviates from informal social norms. The former is not very relative, even if it is culturally different, while the latter is a deviation from informal social norms, i.e., cultural social norms, so informal deviance as defined in societies with different cultures is relative.

The case of studying the relationship between video games and deviations was interesting. While there are assumptions that when video games are viewed as violent, people will imitate them, there is increasing literature that this assumption is contradictory. I thought the former case was an obvious fact that refutation was not easy, but it was particularly interesting that refutation claims were increasing.

Can differences in brain structure with control groups found in neurological and psychological studies really be the cause of certain behaviors?
