1) Summary

It covers multiple perspectives in sociological, scientific, and political contexts regarding gender and gender. First, it explores how different gender identities are perceived as socially. 

Next, it is important to understand the definition of gender and gender and the differences between them. Gender is defined as a biological trait, and is usually divided into male and female. Gender, on the other hand, describes how individuals identify themselves socially, culturally, and psychologically. It explores how these concepts differ, or overlap, and provides a deep understanding of how gender and gender interact.

Specifically, they compare cisgender and transgender concepts, and analyze the scientific, medical, and social aspects of identity and transition. Their presence and experience further highlight the gender and gender complexity.

Discuss individual behavior, social status, and economic impact according to traditional gender roles and expectations. Gender and gender deeply influence an individual's life as a social component, and adaptation to these expectations and critical thinking are important.


2) Something interesting or new that I learned

In fact, I knew a little about the term and concept of transgender, but I learned a new thing about the term cisgender, which refers to the opposite. I also agree that gender socialization begins before a child is born, and the discussion of each theory is interesting. The fact that the interrelationships of intertwined systems affect gender socialization made it possible to feel how difficult it is to correct it and realize gender equality.


 3) Questions & Discussions

Can the discussion on gender discrimination disappear (by solving the problem of gender discrimination)? Certainly, many problems of female discrimination have been resolved compared to the past, but it is true that it still remains. In particular, opinions on male discrimination have recently emerged in the process of solving female discrimination. However, going through the process of solving male discrimination, the problem of female discrimination arises again. Which one is a structure that must be damaged? Why is it difficult to realize a society where both genders are equal? Sometimes, in the process of normalizing what was already inclined, the decrease in the existing benefits is mistaken for discrimination. (both male and female situations) In some cases, differences and discrimination cannot be distinguished. What must be equipped to achieve true gender equality is the perception of people and the perspective of society along with the system, but it is unfortunate that the current Korean society seems to have become very difficult to have.
