    Race and gender play an important role in the global distribution of wealth. Racial inequality has led to a widening wealth gap, such as the significant gap between white and African American families in the United States. Gender inequality is reflected in the fact that men dominate wealth accumulation and women face more obstacles. To promote fairness, racial discrimination should be reduced and women's social status and rights protection should be improved.
