 1. Summary

Social networks are important theoretical structures in social science, studying the relationships of individuals, groups, organizations, or society as a whole. The term describes social structures, indicates social contacts, and emphasizes relational theoretical approaches. Network analysis is useful for understanding various types of relationships, and includes anthropology, economics, and psychology in the fields of social science. This is the history of social networks. Emile Durkheim and Ferdinand Tunney introduced the concept of social networks, presenting theories about social groups. In the second half of the 20th century, Jacob L. Moreno systematically analyzed social interactions in small groups, and other scholars combined different traditions to conduct research. These efforts led to the development of network analysis in the fields of sociology and anthropology. In social network analysis, various theoretical frameworks such as graph theory, equilibrium theory, social comparison theory, and more recently, social identity approaches are used. On the other hand, few theories have been completed through social network analysis, but there are structural role theories and heterogeneous theories, which argue that heterogeneous theories play an important role in the pursuit of information and innovation by emphasizing the strength of weak bonds.

2. Interest thing

In Fritz Heider's theory of balance, the trinity is at the heart of social dynamics. The discord of a competitive love triangle is an example of a disproportionate love triangle, and when one of the relationships changes, it is likely to turn into a balanced one. The dynamics of social friendships in society have been modeled through balanced triads. This research is based on signed graph theory. The reason I found this part interesting is that I first knew that there are two kinds of relationships: unbalanced triangles and balanced triangles. I found that triangles can also work positively if they are balanced, not just negatively.

3. Question

How can a balanced love triangle last for a long time? Could a balanced love triangle collapse? So what caused the triangle to collapse?
