Explore relation between LEGO and gender - Kim Seoyoung(김서영)
I think children, regardless of gender, are interested in developing creativity and problem-solving skills through Lego. However, some studies have shown that boys prefer models related to architecture or science, and girls tend to mainly prefer models that express puppets or animals. This may be the result of reflecting cultural expectations or social influences. This trend has been shown in the past as Lego was marketed to boys and products of different colors were released according to gender, but in recent years Lego has been stepping up its gender-neutral marketing.
Because of that, over time Lego products are generally popular with children regardless of gender with neutral designs.
