 Summary

This Wikipedia article deals with government. Government is a system that governs an organized community, usually consisting of a legislative, executive, and judicial branch that determines and implements policy.
Government is mainly used at the national level, but also applies to local governments along with auxiliary agencies. The main types of government include democracy, totalitarianism, and mixed government, and the origins and historical development of government are also covered.
 
Interesting Things
We have been able to identify five basic types of government distinguished by Plato. Aristocracy, democracy, oligarchy, plutocracy, tyranny. It is interesting to note the etymology of the term government and its variations between different languages.
 
Questions
What social and economic conditions had a decisive influence on the formation and development of early governments?
