In the course of studying Introduction to Sociology/Political Science, we explore in depth social structure, political power, and the interaction between the two. In summary, sociology focuses on social phenomena and the laws behind them, while political science focuses on political power, institutions and their operations. The two are intertwined and together constitute the complex and ever-changing face of human society.

During the course of my studies, I discovered an interesting point: the role of technology in modern sociology and politics has become increasingly prominent. With the rapid development of information technology, social media, big data, etc. have not only changed the way people communicate, but have also had a profound impact on political decision-making and social governance. This new phenomenon provides us with new research perspectives and discussion space.

However, in exploring the interaction between technology and society, I discovered that one issue has not received sufficient attention: how technology affects social inequality and the distribution of political power. Although technology brings convenience and efficiency, it may also exacerbate social divisions and make power more concentrated. Therefore, I believe that future sociological/political science research should pay more attention to this area to reveal the sociopolitical impacts behind technology.
