 1. Summary

This article deals with the introduction of religious studies among sociology. This article deals with an introduction to the introduction of religious studies, the Definitions of Religion, the Typology of The Church-Sect , Theories of Religion, World Religion and Religious History, Religion and Other Social Factors, and The Future of Religion. The definition of religion deals with Sacred vs. Profane, Religion as Existential Question, and Religion as Super-nature. The church-sectarian typology deals with Church and Ecclesias, Denominations, Sects, Cults or New Religious Movements. Theories of Religion deals with the Structural-Functional, Social- Conflict, Social Constructionist, Religious Pluralism, and Social-Psychological. Religion and Other Social Factors cover religion and gender, race, class, education, and health. The Future of Religion deals with Secularization, Current Issues in the Study of Secularization, and Religious Fundamentalism.


 2. Interesting Things

Religion provides social integration, social control, and social meaning and purpose while also addressing existential questions. Religion's enduring appeal begins in part with the fear of death, the need for life goals, and the delivery of faith through socialization. In the context of religious pluralism, these elements interact with people to maintain an ongoing interest in religion. In this article, we discuss factors related to religion and health. In this article, we argue that different types of religion tend to be associated with worse mental health when they are not considered. However, when different types of religion are considered, inherently inward-looking individuals tend to benefit from mental health benefits from religious participation, whereas outward-looking individuals may find that religious participation negatively affects mental health. This demonstrates a complex and paradoxical relationship that different types of religion can affect an individual's mental health and that religious participation does not always benefit mental health.

I wonder how people think about religious culture and how they uniquely shape an individual's religious experience.
