(2) New things I learned
The part of federalism in this article was the most impressive. I've heard the word 'federalism' a lot, but I didn't know the exact concept. Federalism is a political concept in which groups of members are bound together through contracts with the head of the ruling party. And it has been newly discovered that the term "federalism" is also used to describe a system of government in which sovereignty is divided between the central governing body and the constituent political units under the constitution.
(3) Question
Dictatorships usually tend to be viewed negatively. However, there are still countries such as North Korea, China, Russia, and Saudi Arabia that have taken the form of governments through dictatorships. Why do countries still have dictatorships that seem to have more negative characteristics?
First of all, thank you for the good discussion. I think it comes from the desire of a dictator. The countries you mentioned have been around for a long time. They would think, "You can do everything I want, right? I'm a god!" And if they can no longer act as a dictator, they will hand it over to their children, to someone who understands the power of the dictator, to teach them how to do it. The dictator will have to decide if the dictatorship is going to be gone. But will he do that? Is he really going to do that? Is he going to be treated like a god and able to achieve everything he wants?
