 1. Summary

This Wikipedia article describes politics. Politics is the process by which people make socioeconomic decisions. Governments have types such as monarchy (supreme power is absolute), democracy (a majority of citizens have sovereignty), totalitarianism (regulation of all aspects), oligarchy (the real power of the elite group), communism (the dominant role of the government), and theocracy (God is the chief executive). Political parties in the United States are loosely organized compared to other countries. There is no official state organization that controls policy positions, but some state parties exist. Sweden is composed of a multi-party system, and accordingly, political parties cooperate with each other to form a coalition government. Finally, there is a worldwide voting pattern. This can lead to inequality. An example of this is that turnout varies according to gender, age, race, class, and ideology.

 

2. Interesting things

I didn't know the exact difference between authority and power, but I found out. Authority refers to the claim of a legitimate right to exercise power. Power is a recognized right and power to obey or dominate others. In particular, it refers to the coercion that a state or government has over its people.

 

It was impressive that in the United States, people can often become "members" of political parties simply by stating facts. I thought that the political system would be more structured and systematically structured than any other country because the United States is recognized as an advanced country worldwide, but after reading this article, I was interested in the political system in which the United States can be seen as free in a way.

 

3. questions

It consists of social relations involving authority or power, regulation of political units, and methods and tactics used to establish and apply social policy. -> If the family has authority or power, does the form of politics exist within the family?

 

This is a question that I am curious about in the New Politics. Is there any case of abuse of the New Politics, in which you pretend to be a god and take power?

    It was interesting to me that the U.S. political system could become a member of a political party just by stating the facts. This reflects the protection and respect of individual conscience and freedom of opinion, one of the core values of democracy. I think the Republic of Korea should also learn this approach and create an environment where individuals can freely express their opinions and participate. This would create a fairer and more transparent political process, thereby increasing the decentralization of power and transparency of the political process.
