- Summary
Today, I'm going to write about Socioeconomics, Economic Sociology.
First, economic society can be broadly divided into the classical era and the modern era, and it is the study of the social causes and consequences of economic phenomena. In the Classical part, we study the role of economic structures and institutions acting on society, and the impact of society on the economy and institutions. In the Contemporary part, we study the social consequences of economic exchange, meaning, and social interactions that promote or hinder economic interactions.
Socioeconomics, also called social economics, analyzes how society develops and degenerates due to the local economy or the global economy. It comprehensively considers the complex interactions between economic processes and social structures by utilizing theories and methodologies from other disciplines such as anthropology, politics, and psychology, as well as theories and methodologies from economics and sociology.
- Interesting point
The two theories mentioned today were interesting because they were a combination of sociology and economics. It's always interesting to study in combination like this rather than dealing with all the theories one by one. I was always curious about the economy, but I couldn't approach it because it felt difficult, but today I think it was interesting. The impact of the economy on society and the impact of society on the economy were fun.
- Discussion
When prices rise, the government raises interest rates to curb rising prices. You can think that society has affected the economy because the government has taken action to curb rising prices, and you can think that the economy has affected society because the government has taken action after rising prices. What do you think?
Since economy and society are interactive relationships, it seems difficult to specify the answer with either one. It is likely that the process of changing the economy historically and in the future, the influence of the economy came first and then the movement of society appeared accordingly.
ReplyDeleteBoth perspectives are correct because the economy and society are influenced by each other. I believe that the government's decision has resulted in a price increase and another decision has been made to curb the price increase.
ReplyDeleteFirst of all, there are various reasons why prices rise. Social and economic factors, such as increased demand and increased production costs, act in combination. Therefore, rather than specifying one or the other, we believe that both social and economic factors influenced the results.
ReplyDeleteIf prices rise, consumers' purchase power, consumers can have a social impact on the rise, this can affect social impact. For example, people who receive fixed income can spend more money as inflation, and this can increase the burden of living expenses. Therefore, the government can increase interest rates to suppress this, but this must consider social impact, but this should also consider social influence.
