Would the world be a better or worse place if we all spoke a single language?

 I think it will be convenient in all fields if everyone speaks the same language. However, I am worried about the transitional problem that will arise in the middle of the process of everyone speaking the same language. Infants and the elderly who have difficulty learning a new language do not understand another language, and communication problems are likely to be very serious.
