W5.1 (Dana Jung)
1)In studying culture, religion is very associated with nearly every aspect. Regardless of the truth(that it exists), the existence of a religious group impacts the sole way of living life. However, religious is deeply involved with history, and even the same truth can be altered into several different organizations like the church, ecclesia, denomination, sect, and cult.
2)The statistics of religion that the sociologists researched are quite interesting. Other than the main factor of religious teachings, it shows us the majority who holds the power of the group unconsciously.
3)Should influential cults be granted denominational statuses? How much can a religion from one branch become altered? Why aren’t most cults in Korea considered acceptable?
