 -Summary

Today's page talks about the impact of technology, the Internet, etc. on society. The aforementioned technologies have increased dramatically since the Industrial Revolution. Advanced technologies have changed people's lifestyles significantly. Two main theories emerge from this. Technology determinism and social constructism emerge. Technology determinism sees technology driving social change, and social constructism sees social needs and falcon driving technological development.

The advent of the Internet has changed people's lives significantly. These Internet gaps occur depending on how you use them.

- Interesting point

I found the digital divide interesting. The information that people who have access to the Internet and those who do not have access will be very different. This eventually leads to information gaps, and social inequality. When this digital divide occurs, the gap between those who can and don't get information will widen over time.

- Discussion

What is the way to reduce digital gap?

Comments

  1. Schools and community groups run digital literacy programs so that people of all ages can learn how to use computers and the Internet. And the government and the private sector should work together to expand their digital infrastructure. In addition, efforts such as improving Internet access and providing affordable digital equipment are required.

  2. In order to reduce the digital gap, the government should provide devices to ensure that no one is left without digital access. Personally, I think it is important to avoid using too many foreign words and to keep pace with rapid changes.

  4. In your discussion of the digital divide, you effectively highlighted the long-term implications of unequal access to the internet and information. It would be interesting to explore further how cultural factors and language barriers might exacerbate this divide in different regions or communities. Addressing these nuances could enrich the strategies proposed for reducing the digital gap.
