1.Summary

  Social structure refers to the enduring relationships or bonds between individuals or groups, including defined relationships between entities or groups, relatively enduring patterns of behavior and relationships, and the shaping of the social system by social institutions and norms. These reflect the hierarchical stratification of society and the interrelationships between various institutions and many factors, such as culture and economy. The concept of embeddedness in the article emphasizes the complexity of individual behavior as influenced by social structures. There is also the fact that from history to modern times, the study of social structure has provided important information for understanding social institutions, culture and individual behavior. However, it is not only the relationship of social structure that is described in the article, but it also influences the behavior of individuals and the evolution of social systems.

2.Interesting Point

"actors do not decide as atoms outside a social context, nor do they adhere slavishly to a script written for them by the particular intersection of social categories that they happen to occupy" I discovered how people's behavior does not exist in isolation, but is influenced by the social context and relationships in which they live. This statement illustrates the importance of relationships to the social order and how individual behavior is influenced as well as shaped by social structures.

3.Discussion

How do power dynamics in the social structure affect the behavior of individuals and the development of society?

What balance exists between individual autonomy and social norms under different social structures?

    Despite its stability and inertia, the social structure is also dynamic. Over time and through social change, social structures can undergo significant changes that reshape the behavior patterns and roles of individuals and groups.

    Understanding social structure requires an interdisciplinary approach, involving the intersection of knowledge from sociology, psychology, economics, anthropology and other fields. Such comprehensive research contributes to a more comprehensive understanding of the complexity and diversity of social phenomena.
